Weekly Reading Recap

Welcome to my last weekly update of 2015. It's hard to believe that Christmas has passed and the year is almost over. We had a nice week with my father visiting and we all enjoyed our holiday together. The kids both got Kindle Fires so we will be loading some books on those soon. I got a new laptop to use for my blogging. Yay! I'm loving it. It's been a good week and I expect this coming week, which we will be spending with friends, to be a lot of fun as well. I hope you were able to spend some quality time with your loved ones. Once again, I didn't manage to write any reviews, and I haven't managed to finish The Expatriates by Janice Y. K. Lee yet, so no new updates for reading. I am supposed to review this one over the holidays so I do plan to finish reading it tonight or tomorrow so I can get my review published. I'm participating in the First Book of the Year challenge over at Book Journey this week. Watch for my post on New Year's Day ann

Weekly Reading Review

Happy Holidays! I hope you're all enjoying time with family and friends. I'm just about ready for Christmas here. I still have some wrapping to do but did a lot yesterday. However, I did create the snowman above based on one I saw posted by Writerspace . I think he came out very cute! As far as reading goes, I was reading Monsters of Men by Patrick Ness, but I honestly got tired of it about halfway through. So I stopp

It's been over two weeks since my last blog post, three weeks since my last book review and a month since my last reading update. I guess you could say I took a bit of an unplanned hiatus from blogging. I have not, however, taken a break from reading. I may not be updating here or on social media, but I have kept up with reading. I've also been busy with a new project at work, which is my biggest excuse for the lack of blogging, family and all the bustle that goes along with the holiday season. We spent Thanksgiving in Myrtle Beach, SC. My husband and I went on our first helicopter ride, which was very cool. I'm almost done with my Christmas shopping, and have made a lot of progress with getting our guest room ready for my father's visit over Christmas week. We've also been spending a lot of time with family and friends. I doubt I'll be blogging a lot over these next few weeks either, but I do have plans for 2016, and intend to get back to regular blogg
