Mini Bloggiesta

This weekend (Jan 17-19) is the Mini Winter Bloggiesta, a time to get the blog cleaned up and get lots of things checked off the to-do list. Since it's a holiday weekend in the U.S., the event will extend from Saturday through Monday this time.

I have several things I'm hoping to accomplish during this Bloggiesta:
  1. Back up blog
  2. Add a list of the 2015 challenges I've signed up for somewhere
  3. Write three outstanding reviews from 2014 - only wrote one review, but that's one more than I had done before Bloggiesta! :)
  4. Add additional reviews to My Reviews page
  5. Add some reviews to Amazon.com - not done; will try to fit this in later this week
  6. Update tag/labels
  7. Simplify sidebar
  8. Create new page for links to favorite blogs, publishers and authors
  9. Look into new options for social media sharing on the blog
  10. Create calendar of 2015 blogging events (readathons, giveaway hops, etc)
Are you participating? What's on your list?

  1. Yay for Bloggiesta! That's a great list of goals! I hope you get it all done. Here's my list of goals. You just made ne realize I forgot to put back up my blog on it (probably because I was supposed to do it already!)

    1. I was thinking of backing up my blog the other day but never got around to it. So I added it to my list for the weekend. That way I won't forget. :-)

    1. It is hard to keep track of! There are a few giveaway hops and readathons that I do every year, but they always sneak up on me!

  6. Wow, what an impressive and industrious list! I don't even know how one would go about backing up their blog, but it sounds important. I have enough trouble trying to remember to back up my computer once a week (er, month).

I also need to list my 2015 Challenges (and sign up for them!) - I have that on my to-do list for this week, now that I've finally done my wrap-up/best books post for 2014 last week.

What is the advantage to adding some of your reviews to amazon? I;m curious whether that would be worth my time.

Good for you for being so productive this weekend! At least we made a little progress in cleaning out the basement and sent a LOT of toys off to a charity donation today :)

    1. Backing up your blog is actually very easy if you're in Blogger. Just go to Template and then look in the upper right hand corner. There's a link for backing it up. :-)

Adding reviews to Amazon is mostly just to help the authors, really. I'm not sure it's much of a benefit for me. That's honestly why it was left to the end and never got done!

Thanks for stopping by and commenting, Sue!
