Good morning. I hope you've had a good week. Mine was a bit different in that we had the interior of our house painted over several days, which meant that my schedule was a bit messed up. I didn't get to work out as much as usual, and I was stuck in my home office for many hours as the walls were being painted in other areas of the house. But it's done, and after today's walk-through, we can finally hang our pictures again and be back to normal ~ but with much nicer walls!
Because I'm participating in National Blog Posting Month (NaBloPoMo), I have many blog posts to share, one for each day!

I didn't get as much reading done as I was hoping. I did finish There Once Lived a Mother Who Loved Her Children, Until They Moved Back In: Three Novellas About Family
Next up is either The Giver
Kids Reading
C read TodHunter Moon, Book One: PathFinder (World of Septimus Heap)
M has been reading Rainbow Magic Special Edition: Trixie the Halloween Fairy
What are you reading this week? It's Monday! is hosted by Sheila at Book Journey, so hop over there if you'd like to see what others are reading too. You can also check out the younger version of It's Monday!
I did pick up a copy of Pathfinder, but there are so few students who make it to the end of the first series that I don't know how many will read this one! I probably should buy a newer copy of The Giver, since my copies are well worn ones from 1993!
ReplyDeleteInteresting that your students don't finish that series. I wonder why. I haven't read it but my son read the entire series a while ago. He was excited to see this new one. He tends to finish a series once he starts, though. There have only been a couple that he didn't finish.
DeleteOooh! I stopped by via the Write With Me group, and I'm soooo glad I did! I love books and am always looking for new recommendations :)
ReplyDeleteAlso, YAY for painted walls! I daydream about the day we own our own home and I can paint the walls something other than this off-white.
Hope this week is a good one for you. So happy to find a fellow book lover!
So glad you found me! I hope you find some good recommendations here! Have a fabulous week!
DeleteWow, I'm so impressed by your blogging productivity! I am now 9 review behind...
ReplyDeleteMy husband loves the Tana French series. I've only read the first one so far but really enjoyed it - need to find time for the rest!
Enjoy your books this week -

I haven't read any of the others in the series so I'm really hoping that is okay... Glad to hear he likes the series.
DeleteI've been reading "John Adams" for quite awhile. I keep finding other things (hello, Facebook) to do instead. I started reading "The Snow Child" too, but I'm not sure if I'll finish it because it seems to put me in a weird mood.
ReplyDeleteSee, I've always wanted to read John Adams, but never have because I figured it would take me two months to get through it!
DeleteA little paint can make a big difference! We just painted our living room this week and it feels like a whole new room. :)
ReplyDeleteI had no idea that National Blog Posting Month was a thing! It sounds like a lot of fun.
I had never heard of it either. I actually found out about it on Nov 2nd and started right in. Luckily, I had already posted something on the first! :-)
