Fall into Reading: Week #7 Update

I must admit that I've slowed down a bit with my reading, but I'm still on target to finish the Fall into Reading challenge. I had identified seven books to read from the first day through the last day of Fall. I'm about halfway through book #6, with six weeks left in the season. So I can't imagine I won't be able to finish.

Fall into Reading Challenge
  1. Catching Fire by Suzanne Collins **FINISHED
  2. Guernesy Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Mary Ann Shaffer and Annie Barrows **FINISHED
  3. The Help by Kathryn Stockett **FINISHED
  4. Dear American Airlines by Jonathan Miles **FINISHED
  5. The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho **FINISHED
  6. A Map of Home by Randa Jarrar
  7. Crazy as Chocolate by Elisabeth Hyde
I'm currently reading A Map of Home, and really enjoying it. But I just haven't been sitting down to read much lately. Hopefully next week's update will have me closer to starting the last book on my list. We'll see. If you'd like to see what others are reading this Fall, head over to Callipidder Days.

Freedom to Read Giveaway Hop

I Am A Reader, Not A Writer and Mundie Moms are hosting the Freedom to Read Giveaway Hop in honor of Independence Day in the United States, and I've decided to participate. To stick with the theme of Independence Day, I'm doing what I did last year for this hop: I'm giving away a book of your choice that is written by an author from the United States. It can be any genre as long as the author is from the United States. You choose the book (up to $15), and I'll order it and have it mailed to you from Book Depository . The contest ends on Thursday, July 5th at midnight Eastern Time. The winner will be notified by e-mail. If they do not respond within 48 hours, a new winner will be drawn. Happy 4th of July! I hope you have a safe and fun holiday! Enter here: a Rafflecopter giveaway Now check out all of the other giveaways you can enter at the links below!
